A WIP visibility platform lets you track every job in real time, see costs as they build, and spot delays before they grow, all from a single dashboard. With supplier data linked in, you can fix material issues faster and answer customer calls with confidence.

"Where's Job #2046?"

The production manager pushes back from his desk. "I'll go check". Twenty minutes later, he’s back with an answer, but the customer on the phone has already hung up.

Work in process shouldn’t be a black hole. Yet in most factories, jobs vanish the moment they’re released. Spreadsheets capture yesterday’s status. Whiteboards get wiped clean. And every delay hides in the shadows until it’s too late. We built this platform to bring WIP out of the dark.

Executive WIP Dashboard

The WIP Overview gives you instant answers to the most important questions: How many jobs are in process? What's the total material, equipment, and labor cost tied up in WIP? How many are waiting for materials? At a glance, you see WIP count, target vs. completed quantities, scrap totals, and a breakdown of material availability. No more digging through spreadsheets.

Job Level Visibility

The Work/Job Order List puts every active order in one sortable, searchable table. You can filter by priority, material status, or deadline. See at a glance which jobs are delayed, which have materials in stock, and how far along each job is. Spot trouble before it becomes a crisis.

Anatomy of a Single Job: Operations, Costs, Timeline

Click into any work order, and you get a complete picture. The WO/Job Details screen shows product, target quantity, total cost to date, RFID tag, deadlines, and actual completed quantities. Scroll down to see every operation in the production process: each step's estimated time, equipment cost, labor cost, and labor count. The visual timeline at the bottom shows exactly when each phase started. Now you know not just where a job is, but how much it has cost to get there.

Connecting the Dots:Vendor Impact on WIP

Work orders don't exist in a vacuum. When suppliers fail to deliver, WIP stalls. The Vendor Delivery Compliance table tracks on time performance for every supplier. By integrating this data, you can see which material shortages are caused by specific vendors and prioritize expediting accordingly.

Conclusion:What Changes When WIP Is No Longer a Mystery

You stop walking the floor with a clipboard. You stop guessing which jobs are delayed. You stop discovering cost overruns after the fact. Instead, you see everything in real time: where every job is, what it’s costing, and when it will finish. You catch delays before they cascade. You answer customer calls without saying “let me check”. You know, with certainty, what’s leaving your shop and when. The next time someone asks about Job #2046, the answer is already on your screen.
